About CB Intrinsic Chronic Pain Control
Vicki Ellis, MS studied neurobiology to earn her Biomedical Science/Anatomy Master’s degree from Colorado State University (2001). Over the years, she was a research biochemist, taught biomedical and life science college courses, and served as a board member, treasurer and webmaster of Colorado Association of Psychotherapists. She developed and teaches CB Intrinsic Emotion Management, Conflict Resolution, Stress Recovery (Anxiety and PTSD), and Chronic Pain Control courses and book.
Although Vicki has suffered from chronic pain since 1960, she appreciates the fact that at least the pain pushed her until she discovered the neuroscience-based CB Intrinsic Touch and very effective cognitive neuroscience-based mindfulness techniques for stopping pain. She continues to stop pain, whenever it arises, with these techniques. By teaching others how to perform these skills correctly, they can control their pain, too.
EDITION 3.0 IS HERE !!
To reach more people, Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality 3.0 describes how to perform the CB Intrinsic Touch for bottom-up (from the source of pain to the brain) and Mindfulness-based Pain Control (from the brain to the source of pain) for top-down techniques to help nearly everyone control their own pain. Readers learn how to trick their nervous system into controlling chronic pain to the point of stopping it for significant periods of time. Recovery from chronic pain is possible. A return of function for muscles and glands can also be experienced as pain subsides.
CB Intrinsic techniques also provide an important tool for combating the Opioid Crisis through prevention. CB Intrinsic Chronic Pain Control Techniques help prevent the need for opioids and thus, lessen exposure to potential opioid associated risks.
Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality is a must read for sufferers of chronic pain and anyone in the health field seeking alternatives to opioids for treating chronic pain. Stop being a seeker. Become a reader and learn how to control pain intrinsically, from within, by manipulating and tricking the nervous system.
After using her CB Intrinsic techniques for several years, Vicki applied her education in neuroscience to review nearly 500 current, peer reviewed, neurobiology and cognitive neuroscience research articles regarding how the nervous system processes pain. Her techniques for controlling pain are in line with the research. To share the scientific information with others, she plans to write the Chronic Pain Control: Pain’s Reality which will teach how to do the techniques and share research findings that support how and why they work.
She is currently writing a series of books based on the Emotion Management/Conflict Resolution/Overcoming Anxiety course she developed. Stay tuned 🙂
